We are currently looking for a full-time Ministry Relationships Development Consultant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is professional, energetic, and looking for a long term commitment in a Christian environment. This position will work closely with the Executive Director of Ministry Relationships. In this exciting position, you’ll be involved in a team setting that includes strategizing, marketing, prospecting, generating, and qualifying leads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ministry Relationships Consulting (75% of your week)
Develop relationships with church leaders who may be interested in launching generosity systems; directly influence them to partner with INJOY to manage their initiatives.
Consult with church leaders to determine their readiness for launching a capital campaign, help them articulate their vision and goals and understand the components of a successful campaign. Drive the conversations as appropriate to schedule a Board Presentation (BP) in front of the church’s leadership.
Work closely with field sales staff to share necessary background information regarding the prospect’s vision, goals, organizational dynamics and decision making nuances that are particular to each prospect. Ensure the Sales Consultant is fully briefed on all information necessary to have a successful BP.
Attend conferences and trade shows to promote the capabilities, skills and reach of INJOY.
Ensure strong follow up skills are utilized to regularly check in with prospects leading them from thinking or consideration status to commitment status. Ensure all prospects have a positive experience with INJOY.
Ministry Relationships Development (25% of your week)
Help develop top-level marketing strategies and lead generation tactics including: Crafting a social media strategy and telling the story of INJOY in creative ways.
Help develop webinars, e-books, e-magazines, and e-reports.
Help to capture stories and interviews from current partner churches.
Help develop email marketing and email follow up strategies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in business, church management, marketing or related field.
Must have exceptional communication, relationship building, influencing and organizational skills along with a passion for partnering with church leaders who want to reach the next level of church growth and impact.
Proficiency in MS Office suites.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Sales and/or marketing experience.
Knowledge and experience in church management by serving as a pastor, leader, elder or deacon, or committed volunteer in a growing church.
Knowledge and/or experience of CRM Software like HubSpot (preferred) or Salesforce.
Remote available, preferred work out of the office based in Anderson, SC.
