Julio Gonzalez

Senior Stewardship Consultant

Julio has more than 20 years of experience in leadership, strategy, and execution both in ministry and business. Recognized as a trusted advisor for leaders, he is known for his ability to connect with people communicate clearly, and think strategically.

Currently, Julio works with leaders in both the United States and Latin America helping them achieve their full potential so they can be a vehicle of transformation. Whether leading a capital campaign, facilitating an executive team off-site, or coaching a leader one-on-one, he brings a passion for helping leaders go further faster.

Julio completed a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master of Biblical Studies from Crown Theological Seminary.  He served on the staff of leadership expert and Author Dr. John C. Maxwell for several years in Atlanta, GA. During his time with The Maxwell Companies, Julio led a team responsible for designing and implementing their strategy to train leaders in Latin America. He was later on Staff at North Point Community Church where he served as a mission’s pastor and later as the Spanish Pastor and Ministry Director. In 2010 Julio and his family moved to San Jose Costa Rica where they planted a church, and started a missions outreach ministry focused on at-risk children. He remains very involved with his wife in missions and fighting poverty in Latin America, through Hope Partners International. They have built multiple Community Centers (Hope Centers) to provide relief, education, mentoring, and spiritual formation to at-risk children and families.  

Julio and his wife Ashley are blessed with 3 children and live in Atlanta. They enjoy fishing in Costa Rica and extreme sports.
